She was predeceased by: her parents, Linard Cooley and Lella Cooley; and her siblings, Nell Frizzell, Naomi Kerley, Willard, Benton, Billie C, J. C. and Tom Cooley.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Slatton; her children, Rex Slatton (Jana) of Columbia, TN and Lisa Layne (Todd) of Whitwell; her grandchildren, Ashley Lanham (Greg), Heath Slatton and Hanna Slatton; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Lanham and Matthew Lanham. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
