He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Geneva Sullivan Kilgore; his brother Lonnie Kilgore; his nephew Allen Carr; and his brothers-in-law, Dewayne Carr and Lewis Tate.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Wooley Kilgore; his children, Vicki Green, Standifer Burt Kilgore (Roseanna) and Jonathan Kilgore (Jennifer); his siblings, Betty Kilgore (Sonny), Billie Tate, Mildred Carr, James "Buggs" Kilgore (Delaine) and Greg Kilgore; his grandchildren, Sarah Souza, Rebekkah Moore (Daniel), Robert Kilgore, Emily Green, Travis Green (Jasmine), Anna Flaxcomb and Julia Kilgore; and his great grandchildren, Johnny and Susanna Moore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
