He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Mosier, Sr. and Bertha Mosier; his siblings, Hugh Hoyt Mosier, Trent Mosier, Ralph Mosier, Sr and Audy Griffin; and his nephew Randy Mosier.
He is survived by: his wife Dean Garner Mosier; his son John W. Mosier III of Johnson City, TN; and his grandchildren, Taylor Thomas, Paiton Patterson and Garner Patterson.
