He was predeceased by: his parents, Rupan Kaprelian and Osgy Kaprelian; his wife Winifred "Tootie" Kaprelian; his siblings, Sam, Sonia, Elsie and Sue; and his grandson Jered Ashworth.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Kaprelian (Margaret), Norman Kaprelian (Barbara) and Lynette (Roy "Pudgy" Frost). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
