With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan W. Trantham of Whitwell, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett S. Wilkinson and Thelma P. Wilkinson; her husband C. Millard Trantham; her daughter Barbara T. Gray; and her brother Everett S. Wilkinson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Doug Trantham, Carol Bailey (Jim) and Bonnie Knight (Torrey); and her grandchildren, Holly Wegman, Jamie Maness, Rachel T. Kirschenheiter, Elisa C. Trantham, Jay Trantham, Jacob Trantham, Ashley Trantham, Elaine Gray, Elizabeth Gray, Beau Bailey, Molly Sisk, Joseph Bailey, Robert Bailey, Kirsten Roberts, Hudson Roberts, Owen Roberts and Aubree Knight. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other family members and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, Joan wished for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
