She was predeceased by: her husband J. R. Ashburn, Jr.; her parents, Chester Ross and Bette Ross; and her siblings, Ann Ross and John Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Underwood (Paul) of Whitwell, Russ Ashburn (Sheila) of Cleveland, TN and Neal Ashburn (Hope); her granddaughters, Aron Ashburn, Leah Underwood and Maddie Ashburn; and her siblings, Karen Kelly of Signal Mountain and Mark Ross of Dunlap. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her memory to Cedar Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 6665 Old Dunlap Road, Whitwell, TN 37397.
