He is survived by: his wife Pansy Patterson Thacker; his children, Angela Reynolds (Billy) and Jimmy Thacker, Jr.; his brothers, Avis Thacker (Brenda), Sheddy Thacker and Ronnie Thacker; his grandchildren, Tacia Butz (Martin), Michael Norton (Julian), Alicia Norton and Jonathan Thacker (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Luke Norton, McKenzie Norton, Colton Norton and Andrew Butz; and his close friend Ronald Nunley (Vickie).
