Jerry Richard Morrison Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Richard Morrison of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard (Rich) and Vira Inez Morrison; his wife Hazel "Midge" Morrison; and his siblings, Connie Fae Morrison and Jimmy C. Morrison.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Morrison (Gail) of Whitwell, Roger Morrison (Debbie) of Harrison, Karen Rogers (Ron) of Soddy Daisy and Sherri Thomas (Jeff) of Whitwell; his brothers, Johnny Morrison (Bobbie) and Ernest "PeeWee" Morrison (Pam); his grandchildren, Adam Morrison (Sarah), Wyatt Morrison (Mary Katherine), Dalton Morrison, Chelsea Hixson (Michael), Caitlin Hale (Josh), Ciera Wampler (Cody), Ryan Thomas (Alaina), Shea Layne (Kevin), Zach Thomas (Lacey), Alycia Johnson, Shannon Rollings, William Graham and Shawna Graham; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Ryder Morrison, Ella, Hollis Hixson, Harper, Henley Hale, Blaire, Quinn Wampler, Ozzy Thomas, Eleanor, Tatum and Lofton Richard Layne; and his girlfriend Pat Shadrick.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel (470 TN-27, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
