He is survived by: his wife Mary Wallace McGowan; his children, Kenneth McGowan (Sheila), Mark McGowan (Kathy), Matthew McGowan (Peggy), Kriss (Rhonda) and Tracey Miller (Ricky) of Whitwell, TN; his grandchildren, Allen Wright, Marilyn Davis, Rebecca Brummett, Brittany McGowan, Sarah McGowan, Zach Miller, Brandon Miller, Kristin Miller, Katie Johnson, Shawn Johnson, Matt McGowan and Thomas McGowan; his great grandchildren, Aedan Brummett, Rowan McGowan, Braxton Miller, Owen Jones, Asher Brummett, Layla Miller, Mason Wright, Macey Wright, Pacey Davis, Katelyn Davis and Alex; his siblings, Thomas McGowan (Anna), Wayne McGowan (Imogene), Clarence McGowan, Jr., Anthony McGowan, Butch McGowan, Rick McGowan (Carlene), Allen McGowan (Amanda), Annette White (Marvin) and Sheila McGowan; and his sister-in-law Janice McGowan.
