He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Dotson and Hazel Helton Dotson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Everett Dotson; his children, Billy Linville (Crystal), Jerry Lee Dotson, Jr (Joy) and Tammy Ashley; his sister Betty Smith; and his grandchildren, Kyle and Jamie. He is also survived by 7 step- grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
