He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dean Ashburn Stephenson; his children, Joe, Karen Stephenson, Ray and Shelia Stephenson of Whitwell; his siblings, Billy Joe, Shirley Stephenson, Harmon Stephenson of Whitwell and Linda Slater of Pineville, LA; and his grandsons, James Edward Stephenson and Joshua Daniel Stephenson.
