It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Beene (Whitwell, Tennessee), who passed away on October 16, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Don Beene; his parents, Carl Beene and Ida Mae Beene; and his brothers, Hubert Beene and Lonnie Beene.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Evelyn Beene; his children, Sherri Lyn Smith and Rocky Allen Beene of Chattanooga; his sisters, Alberta Peachie Beene of Florida, Rosetta Melton and Lou Ann Ramsey of Whitwell; and his grandchildren, Christopher Gilliam, Colby Aron Beene and Toby Dillian Nunley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
