He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillard Caldwell and Ruby Caldwell; and his brothers, Clyde Caldwell, Wayne Caldwell, Ed Caldwell, Ricky Caldwell and Lewis Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ramsey Caldwell; his children, Anthony Caldwell and Melissa Caldwell Smith; his siblings, Judy Bryant (Dwight), Gene Caldwell, Jimmy Caldwell and Nancy Caldwell; his grandchildren, Allie "Mo" Dern, Ashton Caldwell, Ayden Caldwell, Eli Smith, Alexis Smith and Alex Smith; and his great grandchild Emi Dern.
