He is survived by: his daughters, Alisha Long (James) and Nancy Richards (Jonathan); his grandchildren, James Long Jr., Lakata Long, Destiny Long, Derrick Long, Preston Sanders and Faith Richards; his great grandchild Aubrey Helt; and his siblings, Leslie Sanders, Brenda Mabry, Charlotte Parker, Sue Sanders, Lois Higgins, Regina Healey and Vickie Sanders.
