He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Rogers Barber; his parents, Ira Barber and Ida Barber; his daughter Lisa Henry; and his siblings, Mary Willie Easterly and Herman Barber.
He is survived by: his daughters, Delaine Kilgore (Bug) of Whitwell and Kim Layne (Tim) of Whitwell; his sisters, Doris Dempsey and Carolyn; his son-in-law Mike Henry; and his grandchildren, Jamie Holland, Jessica Kilgore, Joni Hargis, Jason Henry, Wesley Henry, Jonathan Henry, Justin Layne and Grey Layne.
