She is survived by: her husband Zach Layne of Whitwell; her daughter Melanie Kirkendoll (Dan) of Powell's Crossroads; her sister Cathy Levan of Sequatchie; and her grandsons, Carter Kirkendoll and Ethan Kirkendoll. She is also survived by several nieces along with great nieces and nephews.
