He is survived by: his wife Betty Cates Tate; his daughter Marilyn Tate Frazier; his siblings, Pat Dempsey and David Tate; his grandchildren, Delynda Weisbrodt, Alester Tate, Paul Turney, James Frazier and Jenny Frazier; and his great grandchildren, Richard Weisbrodt, Riley Weisbrodt and Hadleigh Frazier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
