She is survived by: her children, Lois Vandergriff (David), Charlotte Pickett (Kevin), Terri Dempsey (Roger), Fred Powell (Carolyn) and Dennis Powell; her brother Robert Powell; and her nieces and nephews, Vernice and Dewayne Powell Graveside. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
