We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2021, at the age of 90, Edna Layne of Whitwell, Tennessee passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna Layne to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Christian and Betty Ann Hughes Christian; her husband William Howard Layne; her brother James "Jim" Christian, Jr.; her sister-in-law Odean; and her niece Cynthia Plyler.
She is survived by: her son James H. Layne; her daughter-in-law Bertie June Hackworth of Dunlap; her children, Gayla Odette Layne Baker of Whitwell and Roger W. Layne of Whitwell; her grandchildren, Tanya Layne, Tyler Layne (Katie) of Dunlap and Trevor Layne of Dunlap; her sister Sharon Keahey; and her great grandchildren, Tori, Ava and Mason Layne of Dunlap.
