He was predeceased by: his parents, George Beene, Sr. and Dollie Lee Rhodes Beene; and his siblings, Donald Ray Beene, Margaret Nell Beene and Martha Ellen Ledford.

He is survived by: his wife Florence Beene; his daughters, Lynda Beene and Debbie Beene; and his siblings, George Matthew Beene, Jr. (Joanna) and Wanda Sue Harrison, Sr. (Charlie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
