She was predeceased by: her daughters, Angel Atterton and Deborah Davidson; her parents, Roosevelt Powell and Alta Powell; and her siblings, Billy Max "Cotton" Powell, Jim Powell, Richard Powell, Isabelle Grayson and Lois Minnick.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Tripp (Randy); her son-in-law Tom Davidson of Whitwell; her grandchildren, Tavis Tripp, Dustin Tripp, Dalton Tripp (Sydney), Carrie Phillips (Seth) and Jessica Holloway (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Tyler Tripp, Aralyn Tripp, Blaine Tripp, Brylee Tripp, Garrett Phillips, Jaymee Phillips, Kobe Holloway and Kyrie Holloway; and her close friend Sonya Ridge.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
