He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Floyd Hicks; his children, Dan Junior Hicks (Kay) of Whitwell, Don Hicks of Whitwell, Kay Green (Jack) of Whitwell and Stanley Hatfield (Janice) of Ringgold; his siblings, Bertie Jennings, Christine Harmon of Ringgold, GA and Benny Hicks (Vernona) of Whitwell; his grandchildren, Johnny Hicks, Michael Hicks (Miranda), Jason Hicks (Brandy), Tim Hicks, Kara Reed (Travis), Chelcie Hargis (Jacob), Miranda Stephenson (Josh), Michelle Leigh and Kevin Hatfield; his great grandchildren, Riley Crowe (Brett), Jaycee Hicks, Jayden Hicks, Jaxson Hicks, Gunner Hicks, Savannah Hicks, Brooklynn Stephenson, Grayden Stephenson, Haven Reed, Owen Reed, Sadie Dickerson, Madison Dickerson, Lucy Hargis and Woody Hargis; and his grandchild Maddie Kay Crowe.
