It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Maxine Layne of Whitwell, Tennessee, born in Pisgah, Alabama, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shadrick Ray and Eula Mae Roberts Sartin (Becky); her sister Brenda Webb; her siblings-in-law, Marjorie Sartin and Lonnie Kirkendoll; her grandson Jacob Boston; and her son-in-law Jeff B. Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Don Layne; her daughters, Angie Boston (Kevin) and Becky Johnson of Dunlap, TN; her grandsons, Cameron Layne (Brianna) of Dunlap, TN., Blake Hudson (Kaitlin) of Dunlap, TN., Jon Boston (Madelynn) of Dunlap, TN. and Jaxon Boston of Dunlap, TN.; her great grandchildren, Paislee and Ezra Hudson; her siblings, Ralph Sartin, Denver Sartin (Linda), Donnie Sartin (Sandra), Betty Kirkendoll, Sybil Lewis (Ronnie) and Frances Everett (Shelly); and her cousins, Diane and Sandra. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles.
