He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Pickett; his parents, James Fletcher and Nellie Irene Pickett; and his sister Lucille Higdon. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Thomas of Whitwell and Tammy Johnson of Hixson; his grandchildren, Anthony Ogden, Rebecca Hodge, Stacey Thomas and Casey Thomas; his great grandchildren, Serenity Thomas, Aiden, Parker Ogden and Georgina Thomas; and his siblings, Lenna French of Whitwell, Elouise Johnson of Dunlap, Adell Flaxcomb of Ringgold, GA and Doyle Pickett of Whitwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
