She was predeceased by: her parents, Newton Jeffries and Lavern Andres Jeffries Harris; her husband James Lee; and her brother David Harris. She is survived by: her children, James William Lee, Jeffery Paul Lee (Sabrina), Joy Katherine Plowman (Spencer), Jackie Boudroux (Roland) and Nedra Goolesby (Keith); and her brother William Harris (Joann). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
