We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2025, at the age of 78, Charles Edward Bozarth Sr. of Whitwell, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lawrence Bozarth and Lillie Mae Hamilton Pittman; his son-in-law Billy McCrary; his siblings, Patrick Bozarth and Sue Ann Bozarth; and his granddaughter Laci Marie Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lancaster Bozarth of Ladd's Chapel Church; his children, Eddie Bozarth (Amy), Cathy Marie McCrary and Susan Bishop (Douglas); his siblings, Allen Bozarth, Wilma Sue Pickett, Mary Dempsey and Debra Scruggs (Al); and his grandchildren, William Blake Bozarth, Matthew Boyd Bozarth, Julie May (Jonathon), Charles Walter Morris (Anna), Ronald Anthony Morris (Carli), Amanda Rains (Tate), Brandon Douglas Bishop and Amber Haley Henry (Hayden). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family members and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tate Funeral Home (950 Mel Dixon Ln, Jasper, TN 37347). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ladds Switch Cemetery.
