Carmela A. Jicha Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmela A. Jicha of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Charles Jicha; her parents, Nunzio Saccone and Maria Saccone; and her siblings, Anna Martelotti, Rita Jicha, Anthony Saccone and Fiore Saccone.
She is survived by: her children, Richard N. Jicha of Marietta, GA, Timothy Jicha of Lakewood, NJ, Valerie Plante of Berlin, MD and Jenelle Jicha of Whitwell, TN; her sibling Silvestro Saccone; and her grandchildren, Roger Plante, Brittany Plante, Jacob Jicha, Nicole Jicha, Grace Jicha Torres, Mary Jicha, William Jicha, Evera Bedwell and Christopher Bedwell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Whitwell Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
