He was predeceased by: his parents, Lancy Perkins and Gladys Massey Perkins of Red Hill; his brothers, James "Billy" Jones and William Perkins; and his brother-in-law Bill Nunley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kristy Perkins and Brittany Kilgore Perkins; his siblings, Jennifer Nunley, Patsy Tate and Jeff Jones; and his close friend Tabitha Carney.
