She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Wayne Sweeton; her brothers, Tom Colston (Joyce), James Colston, Vernon Colston and Edward Colston; her aunts, Roberta White and Martha Francescon; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Sweeton, Sue Colston (Edward), Kat Smith (Richard), Rosa Nell Scissom (Tom), Betty Rogers (James), Delbert Sweeton, Ed Sweeton (Virginia), Daymond Sweeton (Nancy) and Nelson Sweeton (Ella Mae).
She is survived by: her son Wendell Sweeton of Whitwell; and her siblings-in-law, Alton Sweeton of Mt Juliet and Regina Sweeton of Palmer. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitwell Church of God (111 S Oak St, Whitwell, TN 37397). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Inc. P. O. Box (795 Morrison Springs Rd, Whitwell, TN 37397). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Red Hill Cemetery.
