It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lue Tate (Whitwell, Tennessee), who passed away on December 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Estle "Zeke" A. Tate; her parents, Edley Cates and Arrie Green Cates; and her siblings, David Cates, Sue Cates Eggert and Mary Cates Campbell.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Marilyn Tate Frazier; her grandchildren, James Mason Frazier, Jenny Ann Frazier and Paul Samuel Turney II; her great grandchild Hadleigh Marie Frazier; her brother William A. Cates (Pat); and her siblings-in-law, Pat Dempsey and David Tate (Pat).
