It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Ables of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Allen Ables; her daughters, Teresa Ables Bryant and Terri Arlene Ables; and her parents, Arley White and Mary Ethel Slatton White.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Ables (Jennie) of Whitwell, Jerry William Ables of Whitwell and Mary Ables (Randy Barnes) of Whitwell; her grandchildren, Jamy Bryant, Mindy Shadrick, Jake Ables, Zach Ables, Matthew Bryant, Joshua Caldwell, Jr. and Halle Caldwell; and her great grandchild Addy Bryant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
