He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva Loyd Hatfield Foust and Ben Yell; and his brother Lloyd Yell. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Pickett Yell; his children, Gene Yell (Margaret) of Dunlap and Candice Deifenderfer (Tommy) of Soddy Daisy; his siblings, Linda Johnson (Martin) and Ray Cartwright (Rosa); his granddaughters, Megan Cauble (Canyen) and Brittany Deifenderfer (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Audrey Cauble and Noah Cauble.
