It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Cordell of Whitwell, Tennessee, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles William Cordell; and her parents, Ralph Barker and Betty Louise McDonough Pendergrass. She is survived by: her sons, Ernest L. Cordell and William Timothy Cordell (Nicki); her grandchildren, Rebecca Taylor (Joey), Eric Tyler Cordell, Kerry Brandon Cordell and Cory William Cordell (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Alyssa Jade Taylor, Sophia Elizabeth Cordell, Grayson Abel Cordell and Claire Avery Cordell; and her siblings, Charlotte Lloyd, Shelley Morris and Claude Michael Pendergrass.
