He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew M. O'Neal and Beulah Mae O'Neal. He is survived by: his wife Mary O'Neal; his children, Stacy Myers (David) of Whitwell, TN and Steven O'Neal of Whitwell, TN; his granddaughters, Christina Johnson (Ben), Candace Kilgore (Travis) of Jasper, Madison Condra (Trace) and Mallory O'Neal of Whitwell, TN; his great grandchildren, Jace Johnson and Asher Kilgore; and his brother John O'Neal (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
