She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Cicero Sloan and Zona Sisco Sloan; her husband Jack E. Jenkins; her sons, Jack R. Jenkins and Brock E. Jenkins; her siblings, Estelle Craighead, Mazelle Wilson, Manella Upchurch, Ruth Williford, Lois Smith and Ronald G. Sloan; and her granddaughter Betsy Jenkins.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tammy Jenkins Alexander (Glen) of Whitleyville, TN, Scott B. Jenkins (Tina) of Asheville, NC and Jacqueline "Jeannie" Jenkins of Asheville, NC; her daughter-in-law Sherry Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Erica Blankenship (Alexander), Tyler Jenkins and Brandy Scotten (Christain); and her stepgrandson Jonathan Wheeler.
