It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Spivey of Whitleyville, Tennessee, born in Jackson, Tennessee, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nichols Davis and Bessie Novella Long Davis; her husband Arnold Joe Spivey; and her brothers, Clyde Davis, Stanton Davis, Robert Davis, Otis Davis and Walter Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Spivey (Lora Lee) of Whitleyville, TN, Lea Ann Payne (Bruce) of Whitleyville, TN and Wanda Maynord (Jimmy) of Cookeville, TN; her grandchildren, Jason Hickok, Ben Hickok (Andrea), April Hickok, Nolan Spivey (Keisha) and Morgan Jackson (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Myles Hickok, Bennett Hickok and Willow Spivey; her niece Kay Kirby; and her caregiver Peggy Wilson.
