He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Kauffman Swarey of Whiteville, TN; his children, Janet Fern Swarey of Whiteville, TN, Samuel Eugene Swarey (Dana) of Whiteville, TN, Jonathan Leon Swarey of Whiteville, TN and Steven Ray Swarey (Mariah) of Lincoln, MO; his mother Malinda Swarey of Guthrie, KY; his grandchildren, Abigail Ruth Swarey and Marcus Andrew Swarey; his siblings, Rebecca Lambright (Devon) of Crofton, KY, Daniel Swarey (Loretta) of Ava, IL, Ernest Swarey (Marlene) of Guthrie, KY, Reuben Swarey (Frieda) of Henry, TN, Sarah Yoder (Allen) of Cynthiana, KY, Robert Swarey (Mabel) of Guthrie, KY, Julian Swarey (Kathryn) of Olney, IL and Rachel Miller (Ben) of Fredericksburg, OH; and his brother-in-law Marvin Byler. He is also survived by his wife and children.
