She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Bates and Hattie Harriett Riley Bates; her former husband James Coffman Wood; her children, Eddie Wayne Wood and Patricia Ann Wood; and her siblings, Mary Nell Fairless, James Bates and Charles Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Lawanta Latch (Randy) of Adamsville and Stephen Wood (Connie) of Bolivar; her grandchildren, Justin Wood (Breanna), Kimberly Wood Cossar (Robert), Jennifer Latch Cupples (Jeff), Melinda Latch Reynolds (Brandon) and Jeremy Latch (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Connor Wood, Samuel, Grayson, Hayes Cossar, Jaxon, Jacie Cupples, Trent, Grant Ashley, Noah and Allie Katie Latch.
Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Trinity Baptist Church in Bolivar.
