He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Earl Parker, Sr. and Emily Wateridge Parker; and his sisters, Mary Helen (Ennis McDaniel) and Peggy Daniels. He is survived by: his sons, Joel Earl Parker, III (Krista) of Brownsville, TN and Brooks Jordan Parker (Christy) of Oxford, MS; his grandchildren, Emily Elizabeth Parker and Garrison Joel Parker; and his sisters, Earline Caldwell of Memphis, TN and Glenda Thomas (Billy) of Brownsville, TN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haywood County Humane Society, c/o Alice Nunn, P.O. Box 565, Brownsville, TN 38012.
