She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Ella Allen-Jarmon and Gaston Jarmon; her daughter Rosella Jarmon; her grandparents, Ephrim Allen and Ophelia Thompson-Allen; her brother Farris "Pug" Chapman, Sr.; her daughter Ruthie Mae Jarmon; and her great grandchild Kiana D. Murdock.

She is survived by: her children, Oretha Wynn and John A. McNeal; her sister Nancy Cross; her grandchildren, Renae Crews-Thompson, Tisha Patterson (Darriel), Lawrence Crews Jr., Calvin Crews and Joshua Barthalomew; her great grandchildren, Ebony Reshae Crews, Tierra Woods (Mauriquez) and Olivia Patterson; her nieces, Sharon Harris (Marco), Felicia Jarmon and Jeanette Crowder (Frank); her nephew Jason Jarmon; and her close friends, Gertrude Tatum, Edna Ford, Catherine Hudson and Steve Goff. She is also survived by seven great-great grandchildren, one great-great greatgrandson.
