She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gibbs and Lubertha Miller; and her children, Lee Norris, Terrence "Ray" Wilkes and Annette Givhan.
She is survived by: her spouse Nora Lee Wilkes; her children, James Thomas, Belinda Gibbs, Gwendolyn Faye Selmer (James), Rafus Wilkes, Sandra Robinson, Nolan Wilkes (Serita), Darren Price (Delene) and Michelle Jackson (Wayne); her stepchildren, Robert Lee, Mike and Betty Herron; and her great great grandchild Many. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and fifty-six great grandchildren.
