He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Elijah Lawson; his brother Jerry Lawson; his wife Levena Hooker Lawson; his children, Scotty Williams and Angela Williams; his grandsons, Patrick Bishop and Anthony Williams; his great grandchild Charlie Jackson; his mother Jewel Lawson; and his brother Johnnie Lawson (Lucille).
