She was predeceased by: her husband Randall Hightower; her parents, Theodore Gulley and Elise Bowman Gulley; and her sisters, Luarka Fox, Lonita King and Lois Rhea.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Hightower Gulley (Billy Jack) and Atchie Hightower; her granddaughter Ciara Hightower; and her siblings, Gena Lane, Beulah Fawbush, Howard, Ted and Charles Gulley.
