She was predeceased by: her parents, James Barnette and Shirley Barnette; and her grandparents, Walter, Tava Barnette and Hubert.
She is survived by: her siblings, Virgie Green (James) and Carroll Barnette (Rose); her nieces, Kristin Smith (Noah), Brittany Barnette and Kelsey Farmer (Ronnie); her nephew Tyler Barnette (Deszarae); her heart-son Jonathan; and her close friends, Judi Wood and Dee Willis. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family will provide a container for anyone to bring books for children or for donations to The Samaritans Purse for Operation Christmas Child.
