It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Marie Fleenor (Whitesburg, Tennessee), who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill (Billie Baker) and Jerry (Mary Whittet); her husband Paul Fleenor Sr.; her daughter-in-law Vickie Fleenor (Clint); and her grandson Austin Fleenor.
She is survived by: her children, Buddy Fleenor (Mary Jo), Clint Fleenor (Sue), Tammy Helton (Eddie) and Missy Newton (Charles); her grandchildren, Douglas Helton (Kelsey), Brandon Helton, Matt Newton, Jordan Fleenor and Josh Wade (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Kyla Helton, Christian Helton, Isabella Helton, Eryx Helton, Ethan Wade, Adam Wade and Gentry Wade; her siblings, Grant Martin Whittet (Carolyn) and Christy Pitchford (Richard); her sister-in-law Wilma McBride; and her close friend Pearl Manis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
