He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Short (Heather), Jessee Short, Casey Short and Amy Parker; his grandchildren, Laura Short, Zachary Short, Trevor Short, Haven Short, Lacey Moore, Haley Porter, Reeselyn Short, Cameron Short and Aiden McBride; and his sister Alice Harville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westside Chapel Funeral Home, Inc. (3521 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Meek Cemetery (220 Wyatt Village Rd, Bean Station, TN 37708).
