He is survived by: his wife Wanda Johns; his children, Kenny Johns, Sarah Johns and Susie Johns; his stepchildren, Lisa Johns (Jerry) and Randall Sweeney (Angela); his grandchildren, Jennifer Gray (Keaton), Ethan Short (Kaylee), Addison Carpenter, Abram Carpenter, Aden Carpenter, Colston Sweeney, Joseph Roberts (Carrie) and Jacob Roberts (Jennifer); his great grandchildren, Emma "Poppy", Joshua, Everlee, Kaden, Weston, Wylie, Stella, Oliver, Lily, Rowan and Scarlett; and his siblings, Laura Ruth Lowe (Jackie), Cathy Ramsey, Henry Johns (Robin), Vernon Johns (Lois) and Dewayne Johns (Christine).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christian Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Courtney Cemetery (192 Morrisett Chapel Rd, Whitesburg, TN 37891).
