He is survived by: his wife Helen L. Harris Reed; his children, Ronnie Reed (Kathy) of Morristown, Hugh Kyle Reed, Jr. (Kimberly) of Jonesborough, Terry G. Reed (Tracy) of Boone, NC, Bobby J. Reed (Stephanie) of Rogersville, Crystal F. Reed of Bulls Gap, Dewey Dale Reed of Whitesburg and Samantha L. Goodman (Nick) of Rogersville; his grandchildren, Nathan L. Reed, Chloe E. Reed, Matthew J. Barnes, Olivia G. Reed, Caleb H. Reed, Bryanna J. Reed, Ethan H. Reed, Eli G. Reed, Bruce K. Goodman, Haley L. Webb, Jeffery S. Shanks and Jesse L. Shanks; and his siblings, Charles Reed (Ruby) and Georgia Rooker.
