It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Bentley (Whitesburg, Tennessee), who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Buck" and Easter Bentley; and his siblings, Bill Bentley, Jane Goins and Fay Burchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lois Bentley; his daughter Peggy Ray (Mark); his grandchildren, Steven White (Caroline Wazer), Nick Helton (LeAnne), Corrie Ray and Kayley Lynd (Jared); his siblings, Rev. Bobby Bentley, Darrell Bentley (Bonnie), Donnie Bentley (Susan), Maude Gillis and Denise Jones (Gerald); and also, William Stewart and Tracy Sullivan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Due to Covid-19, the family has asked that everyone practice CDC guidelines and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Rogersville Senior Citizen Center or the Daily Bread in Morristown.
