Douglas Akins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2018, at the age of 78, Douglas Akins (Whitesburg, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Akins and Pat Akins; and his brother Norman Akins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Akins; his children, Wendell Akins (Susan) of Whitesburg, Tim Akins (Becky) of Kissimmee and Kim Greer (Bo) of White Pine; his stepdaughters, Jeanne Howington (Jeff) of Russellville and Robin Williamson (Scott) of Maryville; and his brother Jim Akins. He is also survived by children, several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers family request donations may be made to St. Judes in his memory.
